Happy 12th Birthday, Zach!

I can't believe I have a 12 year old! Time has gone by in a blink of an eye. Zach blessed our lives 12 years ago & we would never be the same. He is one of the smartest & most thoughtful boys I know. He is always willing to help out & loves his brothers, (most of the time). He is a Deacon now which means he passes the Sacrament & goes to Young Men's activities & once a month with the Young Women, crazy! He loves Baseball & being with his family or just hanging with his friends. For his Birthday my Mom & I took him out to his favorite place, Taco Bell for lunch. (that's really all you can do on a school day). Happy Birthday, Zach! Zach's first combined activity with the YW/YM. Handsome & sporting some Abercrombie cologne that his Nana gave him. Zach & Nana at Taco Bell.

Happy 3rd Birthday Coop!

October 5th was actually Coops Birthday but I'm a little behind. Lamar was in town so Coop & I met up with him for lunch at Chick-fi-la. Coop had so much fun playing & eating a yummy ice cream cone. We didn't do a party this year so my Mom just stopped by for some cake & to give Cooper his present, a scooter. He loves it by the way!
Some fun things to know about Coop:
1. He loves to be outside.
2. He is at his Dad's side at All times.
3. He has been obsessed with Toy Story 1 & 2 since before the 3rd one came out. Which now that's his new favorite. He calls it Baby Toy Story though because of the Big Baby in it.
4. He still calls Wyatt "Bob" for whatever reason we don't know.
5. He calls the phone a Hello.
6. He is still in love with his Night, Night, aka blanket. We can lay the blanket down anywhere & he will lay down & suck his thumb.
7. He loves to wait by the window when his brothers come home from school.
8. He calls horses Yee Haw's & you can put a cowboy hat on him & he'll say "Howdy Partner".
9. He still takes a nap during the day, but all of his drawers will be emptied & his room destroyed to get back at me for laying him down.
As you can see, he is a fun loving 3 year old & our family couldn't be any luckier to have him in it!
Happy Birthday Coop, we love you!

Wyatt's 7th Birthday

Wyatt turned 7 back in July but I guess it's better late than never to blog about it, right?
We didn't do a whole lot this year beacause we're trying the every other year party idea. We went to Panda Express for Lunch & then El Rico's for dinner with Nana & Papa Ron. Yummy! Then came home & opened presants & ate Wyatt's favorite, lemon cake.
Some things for you to know about Wyatt:
1. He is Funny, he can pull any face, like Jim Carrey & he just says off the wall things without ever cracking a smile.
2. He's a collector(much to my dismay), anything & everything!
3. He is very shy & quiet but watch out, he comes out of his shell very quickly.
4. Loves, Loves Panda Express, Orange Chicken!!
5. Likes Swimming & Soccer
6. His Best Friend since Pre-School has been Ady. They are like two peas in a pod, blonde hair, blue eyes & both pretty shy at first.
7. Favorite color is Orange.
8. Loves to do anything with his Dad.
9. Still comes into our bed a few nights out of the week, but at least it's not every night anymore. He sleep walks or so I tell myself!
10. His water Turtle, Speedy is his favorite pet right now.
11. He Loves to be at home & wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!! That's my sweet boy!!
I could go on about this blessing in my life all day but I have other blog updates to fill you in on!
Happy 7th Birthday, Wyatt!! Love, Mom

End of the School Year / Beginning of Summer Fun

Where do I begin?? I have so much to catch you up on, that I might as well just do it in one post! We have already had a super busy Summer with Swim Team , teaching Swim Lessons & just trying to keep three boys busy. I teach swim lessons until Noon Mon-Thurs. , so the weeks have been going by way to fast for me. I'll be glad when they're over so I don't have to wake up at 5:30am & I can spend every waking moment with my boys! :/ No, I'm kidding, but I will be glad when they're over because that means it's that much closer to the Beach, yahoo!!! The Stroups, my Mom & Jason's family are all going this year. It's going to be soo much fun, I can hardly wait. Anyway, I have a lot to catch you up on & it's taken me almost a month to get this out. So here it goes.................................... Student of the Month: May I'll start with the oldest event & that was Zach getting his long awaited Student of the Month Award. You have to understand that Wyatt has received this award for the past two years & he's only been there for two years!! So, Zach has been very eager to get it since the 2nd grade. We are very proud you Zach for being so "Courteous".
End of the Year Awards:
Wyatt received the Academic Award for getting all A's & B's this whole school year! This is a huge milestone on the Spitler side!! I will say though that all of the grandchildren are very smart even in Math, so maybe it skips generations!! he he :)
DVLL Champs Red Sox 2010:
This is Zach's 2nd year in a row to make it to the Championships in Baseball. They didn't win last year but they did this year!! Woohoo!! It was the most exciting game. We played against the Cubs who hardly had any losses this season & they were a great team. It wasn't one of the best games for the Red Sox but we still pulled it off. The best part was Zach got up to bat with the score 0-2 Cubs & Zach blasted a hard grounder & got two of the runners home to tie up the game. It was awesome & yes I got teary eyed!! They ended up winning 5-4 . Gooo Red Sox!
And yes, that was the longest season Ever but I loved every minute of it! :)
Love Papa Ron!!
Swim Team: Perry Piranhas:
My Coop
Here's the trooper who sits(actually runs all around) through all the swim meets & baseball games.
Zach had his Championship for baseball the first week of practice, so we really ran seasons into each other. This is the boys first year in doing swim team. I know, crazy for any of you that knew me & knows that I lived in the pool since I was 4 years old. Zach actually did it when he was 5 for Taylor but we never stuck with it. So, in saying that it's been a little tougher to be 11 1/2 & just starting to learn all the rules & to be in a tough age group. I take him & his friend who also has never swam on a swim team, Meg at 6am for practice in Gilbert. That right there says a lot for a couple of tweens , but I think if they stick it out they could do really well. Wyatt has picked up on it so fast. He's gotten 2nd place in Freestyle, Backstroke & Breaststroke. What's funny about him is he weighs absolutely nothing, so he just cruises through the water. For those of you that know Wyatt you know that he is the slowest kid in the World when it comes to everything else, examples: eating, getting out of the car, homework etc. So in saying that, I really don't know how he pulls it off every time, but he does. Goo Piranhas!
1st Meet Freestyle
2nd Meet Freestyle & Backstroke
3rd Meet Backstroke & Breaststroke What a cute little fish!
