Missing...........

I know, I've been missing from the blogging world since the beginning of October, but now I've been found. It's so crazy this time of year, but I feel that it's important to catch up with all of you on the happenings in my family. By the way, this update took me 4 days to do! So EnjoY!! I'll start with the latest & that was going to Pine & playing in the snow last weekend. We went with some friends & had a blast, despite freezing our buns off! The kids sled down the hill over & over again, even Lamar tried it. My excuse was I had to keep Coop warm, (wink,wink). We also saw the most beautiful, full rainbow going up there too. I've never seen a full one before.

Coop workin' hard! Christmas Program: Last week was the kids Christmas program for school. We went to dinner at El Ricos , (our favorite place) with my parents & Lamar's parents. It was yummy, of course! Then we went to the program. It was the fastest program ever, which kind of made me sad. I know, tear, tear! Wyatt got to wear his pj's along with the rest of the first graders. Soo cute!! Then after we got Hot Chocolate & doughnuts with some friends & my parents. We even closed the place down because we were talking so much.

Wyatt's Field Trip: A few weeks ago, my friend Marcie & I got to meet up with Wyatt & Ady at the Zoo for there 1st grade field trip. We froze to death! I either freeze or sweat to death when I go, I can't seem to get it right. They got to see a puppet show that was really cute. These two elderly ladies were the stars of the show & were hilarious. The kids biggest highlight was of course, sack lunch!! Remember when you went on a field trip & your Mom packed you something special? I do, maybe that's why I make it such a big deal. Afterwards, we stopped & got some yummy Costa Vida.

Fall/Winter Sports: So, this past Fall Wyatt was in Soccer. His team was called the Monster Trucks & struggled all season long. Wyatt got the hang of it towards the end,which was fun to see. Now he is in Flag Football, the Cowboys. His team is very entertaining to watch & it's even more entertaining to see these other teams take it so seriously. This one kid today would just run for touchdown no matter if his flag had been pulled or not. Too funny!!

Birthdays: October was a busy month for us, we had Lamar, Zach & Coop's Birthday, then throw in Halloween, crazy!! I already posted about Coop's birthday, so next up is Lamar's 30th Birthday. We had so much fun, I surprised him by driving us up to Globe & meeting his twin brother, Larry & his wife Megan for lunch at El Ray Cafe'. He was totally surprised!! He had to get back because he had to go to a Stake Scout Camporee, on his birthday, dedication!!

Next was Zach's 11th Birthday, crazy! Can you believe it, I have an 11 year old! It was fun, I took him & his friend to Amazing Jakes over October break. I don't suggest that to anyone, busy! Wyatt & I hung together while Zach & Adam were to cool for us.

Arrow of Light Award:

With Zach turning 11, he moves up to 11 year Scouts now. He got the Arrow of Light Award & the Order of the Arrow presented it to him, along with his Dad, who is the Scoutmaster.

Zach's famous...just kidding. All the scouts from the Q.C. were thanked by the city for helping clean up the Queen Creek Wash.

Halloween:

For Halloween, we had a party with our friends & their kiddos. We had yummy soups & played fun games. The kids bobbed for apples & played the doughnut on a string game. That was so hilarious to watch. Zach's doughnut fell on the grass, which if we hadn't just reseeded, it wouldn't of been that gross, but it was & no details are needed!

Coop's 2nd Birthday!!

Good Morning, Birthday Boy!

Last week we celebrated Cooper's 2nd Birthday! It's funny to think back two years ago to when he was born & we had named him Weston for a few hours. I had been going back & forth a million times between Cooper & Weston & then we decided & told friends & family. Then it just hit me, Cooper just sounded right for him. So, we had to make some embarrassing phone calls, but oh well, he is a Cooper & nothing else!!

We had fun celebrating with yummy cake & fun presents. He got to watch his favorite show whenever he wanted, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" & pretty much get away with anything. Which really isn't all that different than any other day!! LOL

We love our Coop! Happy Birthday big boy!!

Funny things about Coop:

*He calls Wyatt "Bob"

*He says "Ewe Wee" whenever he has a dirty diaper.

*He dances every time the "Hot Dog" song comes on on Mickey Mouse.

*Freaks out if you feed the dog without him or go outside without him.

*Can hear the pantry door open from a mile away & comes bookin' it in the kitchen.

*Still loves to paint his crib & bedroom with dirty diapers while saying "Ewe Wee"!

*Anything that has four legs, whether it's our Guinea Pig or any other animal, it's name is Buck our dog.

*If he sees his blanket, no matter where it is, he will drop like a fly & lay on it.

*Last but not least, he has us all wrapped completely around all of his fingers & toes!!

First day of School!!

Ahh, school's back in session!! I can't believe I have a 1st grader & a 5th grader, CRAZY! The boys got the friends & teachers they wanted. That hardly ever happens. Coop & I sure miss them but are having fun catching up on our bonding time. Have a great school year, Mommies!!

Summer Fun!!!

Did we ever have a fun Summer!! I can't believe it's over & the kids are back in school. We did a lot & there are plenty of pictures to prove it! Sammi came for a visit, we went to the Science Center, the Aquarium, High School Musical, Birthdays & of course Swimming!! We hope you all had a fun Summer too!!

Disneyland & Wyatt's 6th Birthday

It seems like forever since Lamar & I have been planning this fun surprise, Disneyland! We had so much fun . This was Wyatt's first time being able to go on the older rides. So for his first ride we picked the Tower of Terror! I know, like my Dad said I should of been turned in for that one. I had never been on it, so I had no idea that Wyatt would be scared to death!! It was fun though. His fav. ride was Splash Mt. & the Grizzly River Run. We did Splash a few times & we got to go on it two more times in a row because Disneyland was closing. Zach got to do the older rides, Indiana Jones was the One that Wyatt really looked forward to & he was so close to the height requirement that I even took a picture. Sad as he was he understood, & every kid that got to go on he would say "I'm taller than them!" It was very fitting that we found him a shirt that had Yoda on it and he is being measured for a ride & at Disneyland & he's too short, & the front of the shirt reads"Judge me by my size do you!" We loved it!! While we were there we celebrated Wyatt's 6th Birthday. We got to go on most of the rides with Fast Passes, everybody in the world told him Happy Birthday & we got to eat dinner with Pluto, Goofy, Jasmine, Minnie, & Aladdin at Goofy's Kitchen & had a blast. Yummy food too! Goofy was hilarious & Aladdin was so sweet! We all had a blast!! I think Zach liked making his own light saber the best though, oh and the Rollercoster at Cali. Adventure. Wyatt loved Splash Mt. & eating with Goofy. I think I'm old fashion & like all the old rides, like Thunder Mountain & Space Mountain. Lamar liked Splash, Grizzly River Run & Tower of Terror. I forgot one thing too, Wyatt got to talk with Crush from Finding Nemo. He asked him what his favorite color was & Crush responded "Green of course, Dude" & he named him Wave Crasher Wyatt. All & all we had super fun & are very grateful that Coop & Nana kept each other company!!
